We know we’ve been pretty quiet lately, and for that we apologize. But here’s what we’ve been up to! Remember that movie we’ve been hinting at for a couple years now? We’re making it! It’s called “Attack of the Psychedelic Zombies, Man”, and it will star our friends Klaus von Hohenloe and Jon Yeske, playing a pair of pizza-making stoners who unwittingly cause a zombie outbreak. The three of us will be making small cameos as well, but we’re no actors. As we always say, we’ve got faces for radio.

You can head over to ourĀ Kickstarter page to get the full lowdown (and prove our “faces for radio” theory), but the gist of it is this: we’re filming the movie whether or not the Kickstarter is fully funded. What we hope to do with the money is recoup our equipment expenses, as well as the cost of housing and feeding our volunteer cast. We’re doing this on virtually no budget, so any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated. Plus, we’ve got cool prizes!

We begin shooting just after the 4th of July holiday. During that time, we’ll be filming all of the major dialog and setup scenes. The gore and major zombie attacks will come later in the month, rolling into August. Our goal is to have the whole film edited and ready to go by the end of October.

If you have any other questions, feel free to drop us a line. Also, we’ll be talking more about the movie and what we’re hoping to do with it on the next episode of DGRadio, which is coming shortly.

Thanks for checking out our new project. LET’S MAKE A MOVIE!

    Take my money! Take it!

At first glance of the “Pledge Now!” paper, I thought it was a hairy cock we had to help fill up. I’m now disappointed.

  3. Helping fund a documentary about rural Wisconsin is a pleasure. I also liked that I could totally see up the flag’s skirt.

Congrats on hitting the mark, guys!

Thanks guys. And thanks everyone for helping us obliterate our goal!
